The internship constitutes a curricular activity carried out within an external organization formally affiliated with the Department hosting the Degree Programme.
As established in Article 14 of the Academic Regulations of the Master’s Degree Programme in Pedagogical Sciences (Class LM-85), issued by Rectoral Decree Rep. No. 2089 of 7 August 2025:
1. Curricular internships and “internships and placements within companies, public or private institutions, or professional orders” are educational activities designed to place students in professional environments that best match their academic educaiton and contribute to their professional development.
2. The procedures for completing the activities referred to in paragraph 1 are governed by the current Regulations for the organization of orientation and curricular training activities.
3. The Department establishes and publishes on the institutional website the Guidelines concerning the procedures for requesting, approving, and recognizing the aforementioned activities.
The activation of an internship is contingent upon opening a formal request, which must be initiated in person at the designated offices. For students enrolled in the LM-85 Degree Programme, the point of reference is the Departmental Teaching Office of COSPECS Department, Via Concezione 6, with Mr. Vincenzo Pergolizzi (vpergolizzi@unime.it).
Within the updated list of partner organizations valid across the University, students must identify those entities that have specific agreements with our Department.

Guidelines for Preparing the Final Internship Report
The report should be structured as follows:
1. Introduction: Student’s surname, first name, and matriculation number (ID student number); student’s email; name of the host organization; surname and name of the company tutor; internship period.
2. Description of the Context: List of activities carried out at the organization where the internship took place.
3. Description of Internship Activities: Objectives achieved; tasks performed and level of autonomy; interpersonal relationships with the tutor and other professional figures.
4. Evaluation of the Learning Experience: Alignment between the knowledge and skills already acquired during university studies and those required during the internship; new knowledge and skills developed during the internship; assessment of expectations in relation to the activities actually undertaken; any difficulties encountered that prevented the achievement of the intended objectives.
